  1. This review refers to the Remastered CD on Westbound. Musically, I will return to this. It's a solid enough effort, without any of the excellence of either the debut or the follow up. I suppose you would still call it consistent, if consistently ordinary. With nine minutes of bonus tracks, this is a very short, even for the period, album.
  2. The funkadelic remasters are very good i'm happy to say. Free your mind is indeed horribly recorded and mixed; the music is fantastic. I would love to hear a remix of that ear bleeding album I love the production of maggot brain. The atmosphere is unique; especially compared to today's processed shit.
